ULLRGRASS Troubadour CONTEST BASICS

This special singer songwriter showcase event is always FREE and open to the public and typically falls within the 2nd or 3rd week of January leading up to the main festival.

This contest is open to all songwriters and all styles of music. Contestants may perform solo or with 1 accompanist. The judging will be based on "song quality", "vocal performance" and "overall performance".

Details on how to apply will be posted in November 2026.

The winner of the UllrGrass Troubadour Contest receives a weekend pass to this year’s UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival and will be offered a performance slot at the following year’s UllrGrass.
