The UllrGrass 2027 Band Contest To Be announced in November 2026 *

The Band Contest is a FREE event and open to the public and will also be livestreamed on our UllrGrass Facebook page. We encourage you to consider bringing a gently used or new coat as a donation to our nonprofit partner - A Precious Child.

The winner of the UllrGrass Band Contest will be offered a Main Stage set at UllrGrass 2028.

The contest is open to string bands and non-string bands alike. The judging will be based on the “instrumental performance", “vocal performance - including use of harmony", and “overall performance". Favorable consideration will also be given to bands performing original songs (bands should introduce their original songs as such).
