A Family-Friendly Winter Festival in Golden, Colorado

Bring the whole crew to UllrGrass Family Day on Sunday, January 31, 2027, in downtown Golden, Colorado.

Sunday at UllrGrass is all about live music, winter fun and giving our youngest festivarians plenty of reasons to love UllrGrass, too. Families can enjoy live music in Parfet Park, the annual UllrEgg Hunt, kids activities, games, a scavenger hunt and plenty of UllrGrass silliness.

Sunday Family Day Highlights

The UllrEgg Hunt — 11:00 AM Sharp

One of our favorite UllrGrass traditions!

Kids race through Parfet Park in search of hidden UllrEggs filled with treats. The hunt begins promptly at 11:00 AM and the eggs go fast, so arrive early and be ready.

When the hunt is over, return your empty eggs to the UllrEgg recycling bin so we can use them again next year.

Kids Scavenger Hunt

Think your young Viking has what it takes?

Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Kids Area and explore UllrGrass and downtown Golden in search of the answers. When you're finished, bring your completed scavenger hunt to the Merch Tent to claim a prize.

Kids Area

The UllrGrass Kids Area gives younger festivarians a place to play, create and take a break between the music and other festival adventures.

Activities include:

  • Giant Jenga and other games

  • Hula hoops

  • Coloring and crafts

  • Kids toys and activities

  • The Grog Measure-Me

  • Plenty of room for a little UllrGrass fun

The Kids Area is open 11:00 AM–4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
